Women's trousers, tapered below the knee
The taper holds off until below the knee, and above that the leg runs straight through the thigh. At the shorter length the ankle is out and the shoe joins the outfit. Left long, the hem folds once over the foot and stays there. The rise sits high, which puts the waistband on the ribs rather than under them. For something sharper again there are the tailored pants, flat at the front and narrow at the hem.
Slim leg pants, flat shoe or heel
Weekdays mostly go to the black pants, and very little gets decided about it. There is more room through the leg in the straight leg pants when a day calls for it. A flat leaves the shape where it is, the hem level with the top of the shoe. A heel takes the same pair into an evening.
