Above tailored pants the whole leg is uninterrupted. Sleeves finish at the wrist and the pockets sit high, above the hem rather than level with it.
Cropped jackets against blazers and bombers
The blazers take a similar shoulder and run it further down the body. The bomber jackets trade the sharp edge for a rib at the wrist and hip. A jacket this short is usually off by lunch and back on again by four. Over a dress it stops at the point where the skirt begins.
