A round neck leaves the collarbone showing. That suits a chain, or nothing at all. The neckband is narrow and ribbed, and it sits flat rather than standing up. The hem finishes level with the hip and the cuff at the wrist bone. The turtlenecks are the other half of the same drawer.
Heavier gauges in a crew neck jumper
Heavier gauges do not want much company. Put one on with a pant and the outfit is finished. Something in a finer knit will go under tailoring and disappear there. For a lower neckline in the same shape, the v-neck jumpers sit next door. The knit dresses take the round neck all the way down to the calf. A shirt goes in underneath easily enough, though nothing here asks for one.
