Bomber Jackets

Ribbed cuffs and hem on a bomber

Rib at the cuff, rib at the hem, and a body that stops at the waist. There is room through the body for a jumper underneath. The zip runs to the top of the collar on some and stops short of it on others, and the pockets sit in the side seam where a hand goes anyway. Over jeans the hem lands level with the waistband.

Bomber jackets when the year cannot settle

The cropped jackets land at a similar height with a harder edge to them. The sharper jackets are the ones that open properly at the front, with a collar that stands rather than folds. Half the year it goes on over a shirt and comes off again by the time the tram arrives. It covers the hour before the sun is properly up and the hour after it drops.
