Tops

Women's casual tops, from a tank to a tee

A tank in the heat, a tee for most of the rest of the year, and something with a bit of shine when an evening calls for it. The straps run from a cord to a good two fingers wide. Hems either stop at the waistband or sit past it, and the longer ones get worn untucked. By the time a blazer and a coat are on, a neckline is all anyone is judging.

Collars, cuffs and cold-weather tops

The collared shapes sit with the blouses and shirts. When the cold arrives most of the drawer gives way to knitwear and stays that way until the mornings ease off. Sleeve length sorts one shape from the next. On the sleeveless ones the armhole sits high and close.
