Knitwear
Women's knits from a crew to a turtleneck
A crew leaves a shirt collar showing above it, and a turtleneck ends that conversation entirely. A rib pulls in at the wrist and again at the lower edge. The cardigans go over any of it and come off again at a door. Sleeves sit long enough to cover the back of a hand when the arm drops. A fine gauge vanishes beneath a coat, and a heavier one takes nothing over it.
Knitwear that runs longer, and without a sleeve
Length is the other thing that changes. The knit dresses take it past the knee and leave nothing else to be decided. The knit vests drop the sleeve, for a room that has warmed up more than the morning suggested. The shoulder sits dropped on the looser shapes and closer to the bone on the rest.
