Packaging
We have redesigned our packaging with a focus on reducing waste and minimizing our environmental impact. We carefully select high-quality materials that have a smaller footprint and encourage recycling wherever possible. For instance, all paper trims, including swing tags, are printed on FSC certified cardstock with non-toxic inks, while the labels on all garments are woven from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester yarn.
To protect each garment during shipping, we use a carbon-neutral, home compostable polybag made from corn-derived materials, sourced from Better Packaging. We also aim to encourage re-use where possible, offering the option of a cotton Elka Collective tote bag with purchase, which can be used time and time again.
