EC Being a creative, what are your sources of style inspiration?

SL I’ve always drawn inspiration from the past. As a teenager, I’d spend weekends sourcing vintage pieces to rework or sew my own designs to wear out the following week. As I’ve grown older, my style has evolved to become more minimal and wearable, while still gravitating toward standout pieces, inspired by designer catwalks or my favourite style icons.

EC How do you approach outfitting throughout Autumn & Winter?

SL I’m a sucker for a dramatic coat, but lately, I’ve been experimenting with layering. I love playing with textures—wool, leather, cashmere, and vintage denim. My go-to formula is mixing structured pieces with something soft or oversized.

EC You travel quite a lot, where in the world is your most-loved destination?

SL I’m a Libra, so choosing just one would be impossible! I’d say my top three have to be Paris, Mallorca, and the islands off Indonesia. Each one holds a special place in my heart for different reasons.
