Fine, and a knit goes under a blazer with room to spare. Heavier, and it stops being a layer and becomes the outer one. A cardigan splits the difference. Knit dresses run to midi, with a couple stopping at the knee. A hem stopping at the hip leaves a waistband showing, and anything past it covers the top of a skirt.
The knitwear sale, full price and further back
What is still at full price sits over in our knitwear. Further back than that is the archive knitwear, from collections that have already closed. A fine knit goes on at seven and stays on through an overheated tram. The heavier one waits for the fortnight that genuinely needs it, then takes a weekend outdoors with nothing over the top. Most of it folds rather than hangs.
